Outsourcing killed RingCentral. All those directors and VPs having 0 eng experience and being sold 💩 by offshore ppl (who now have too much leverage and too critical) but great at polishing execs. Results in lack of vision, couldn't scale during COVID boom (vs. Zoom), dead shell of a company, think Cisco but worse.

Telecoms like ATT are horrible to work at. They basically lobby themselves into an oligopoly, so no competition. Without competition all you have is a mountain of politics, BS, and dead weight. BCG is a bunch of kids giving bad advice so that they can get a bigger contract, all because your management is clueless.
They outsource all work to companies like ibm TCS Accenture etc , the att guys are generally the experts who just preach on calls while the peasants take notes and build internal software

Not at all. RingCentral has had layoffs every single month since November. Everyone I know is either hoping for a package or actively looking to get out.
Anyone who has actually worked for RingCentral knows this isn't true. It's a hot mess.
