I'm interviewing for analytical role at Overstock. I have seen in the news Overstock has new leadership. Can you please provide an candid option on the work culture, growth prospect, leadership and work life balance at Overstock? #e-commerce #retail #overstock
It kind of depends. The company is more retail focused and more financially healthy now. All good things for someone in your position right now. It used to be more quantitative though with more analysts in Executive positions and more opportunities for advancement. Now analysts and technologists are mostly subordinate to a bunch of merchants in exec roles which I dont think is the best long term formula.
You mean run closer to how Walmart is run? 😬

I work at OSTK. With you being a new hire, the culture is healthy. Continually growing and looking for ways to improve. Being candid, it is in a better place now compared to 2 years even 1 year ago.
