I joined a company 4 mos ago. It’s so fast paced there is always ad-hoc stuff as there were little to no guidelines on how to do things. On top of that I had 2 big projects which I had no experience until now and when I was assigned I thought “good opportunity to learn” but learning what to do on x topic, learning and implementing how it should be done at company, inviting others to collab, and taking things to a successful end or a BAU project hasn’t been possible as I was also in the mid of launches, onboarding, lots of reading, meetings and slack. I invest a good 6-7 hours per day just work, I take supplements l tyrosine nero nutriens cognimax and an add medication yet I’m not able to catch up. i see other new starter colleagues getting things done- time is never enough for me and it started to make me feel “am I not good at this?” What should I do to revitalize my energy and confidence levels? *I am active and eat well.
4 months is a short time to figure out if you are a right fit. I would say start getting involved and take up responsibilities if going through training videos/ reading is not your cup of tea. Take an other person’s help if you don’t understand the on going functionally and you will be just fine
Sometimes you have to manage your manager. A good way to this can be to set realistic quarterly goals going out 3-4 quarters. Track your progress against these weekly and always press management on ensuring work aligns with the business priorities. Assuming the goals align with the orgs goals it should be well received. Tough situation but you’ll figure it out!

Did you have previous product experience? You need to have a thorough understanding of the role and expectations so that you don’t end up over functioning.
Yes I have 4 yoe at smaller companies, so I’m used to doing things that are not only core but more:) nevertheless it’s a time mgmt issue I guess :/
I am going through the same where I took up a bunch of stuff and ended up being “busy”, I wasn’t really supposed to do all of that. The net effect is that I don’t have time to do stuff that will get me appreciated as a PM.
