Amazon Relocation - salary adjustment question.
If I relocate from NYC to a lower cost of living city does Amazon adjust my salary down to align with that market? In my old company they would not do that however future raises would be suppressed to align with that geo Thanks
You just wonβt get a raise during your pcs. Just like how mine went this week. π€¬π€¬π€¬π€¬β¦ went from nyc to lcol city lost the commuter benefits and didnβt get jack shit during pcs even though I was exceeding the high bar
It depends on whether the pay range in that new city is different. Your compensation ratio stays the same just on the new band so in practice that can mean a pay reduction but if the pay scales are the same there won't be any change.
No they don't if you are moving at the same level into the same job family. I moved from NY to austin recently and the salary structure was unchanged
