Microsoft vs Snapchat
I got an offer from Microsoft and told the recruiter I was also considering an offer from Snapchat. Msft recruiter responded that I should "consider the long term ramifications of choosing a Social Media company over a top tier Software company. Choosing Microsoft will provide your resume with a premier logo." Msft: 150k (Seattle) Snap: 225k (LA) Thoughts? (on the comment, not really looking for advice on which to choose)
Tell the recruiter there are 70k more reasons to choose Snapchat

Go to snap. Microsoft will last longer than Snapchat for sure. But then you can come back to MS at a later point.

lol wut. I agree it’s stable. That goes along with new hires / college grads getting less impactful work and less responsibility. On top of low pay. Been there 10 years from new grad to principal.
I’d suggest inmailing a recruiter on LinkedIn. That’s how i got a call. We were asked not to refer people we don’t personally know.
