What’s the point of playing sports if you’re not gonna compete in the Olympics?
Received a job offer from Luxoft for Krakow location. Monthly gross: 20k PLN YOE: 6.5 Project is for a major German multinational. Is this enough for Krakow, after taxes? They mentioned need to work from India for 2 months till Visa comes around. Any feedback on Luxoft would be helpful. #engineering #software #swe #Luxoft #Poland #india #Compensation #Krakow
Not working at luxoft and not working as Swe, im supporting Azure, that salary is peanuts for warsaw. For smaller cities might make sense but with that yoe (mine is 2) you should be making 30k monthly. I make 20k gross and get around 13500 after tax, insurance etc. Luxury and big flat I rent for 3 people for 5k pln Monthly groceries, alcohol, eating out cost about 2-3k if spent lavishly would make 4-5k tops. Thats all you can eat and drink as a one person… Never needed car, not planning to buy house, too expensive anyways. So instead of saving lot and living frugally, imho Poland is best to enjoy for couple of years as local experience doesn’t cost that much but exported goods do. Live here for 5-6 years, get EU citizenship (need polish) go somewhere else. Swiss preferred, without EU passport its almost impossible tho. Or come here, work 2-3 years, get offer from another country. Up to you.
You can get 34 lakhs in India
Are you saying that would be equivalent to the Poland offer ?
If you convert 20k PLN to iNR , it will be 34 lakhs. Why would you move outside India and to costlier place for a salary which you can easily get in India
