I'm looking at a job at Stack Overflow working with analytical and engineers. What can people tell me about the culture at SO? Are you proud to work there? Are you challenged?

Glassdoor is pretty accurate, if you want an overall picture. How challenged you are depends a lot on what team you’re looking to join. Lots of great people around, but be prepared for not great culture being perpetuated by management and execs. Fantastic benefits are a major plus, and comp situation is getting better. There’s no pride. It’s a place to come in, do your work, and enjoy the pay and benefits. If you’re lucky, you’ll do that on a team with great people.
Is bad culture: bad work hours? Vicious Co workers? Immature people? Is there any hope it will IPO and everyone will become millionaires?
A combination of those issues, depending on what team you’re joining. you won’t become a millionaire if they exit. That’s only if you joined many years ago.
