Has anyone gone through the Performance Improvement Process (PIP) at Salesforce?
It is generally used to manage people out of the company, followed by a "take this severance now & go, or stay a bit longer & we fire you"
Any one try hiring a lawyer and proceeding with a pip will be interesting to see how that goes attempted - wrongful termination
Why are you on a PIP? It’s very hard to get to the point of a PIP/PEP. If you got to that point you are probably in a role that you’re not going to successful in.
It's not hard to get on a PIP. If you're not performing to the level you're at, it's a logical step to PIP someone. It is often used to manage someone out tho. Managers can make it intolerably hard to succeed so you'll be gone. I'd be looking for sure. You have 30 days. #sinkorswim
Pip at salesforce means not only were you bad, you also pissed someone else off, and you can’t even do basic chatter management
Someone already asked for the mulesoft dude in the salesforce lounge. The answer is it’s beatable if you are okay with no promos and raises.

I don’t understand what kind of conclusions everyone draw here. Why would Salesforce tries to get rid of people when they are on the race to match up with FAANG!! If someone is going through PIP means they are purely paying for their mistakes in the past. No manager wants to fire someone just like that until unless you are a real pain in the A. Remember for a given manager the more reportees they have the better and no one wants to cut down until something is crap 💩
