PM 2 @ Uber Offer
Originally went for Senior PM but got downleveled to PM 2. YOE: 8 years in product + 2 years as an engineer Had the call today with recruiter about positive outcome and that I get numbers on Friday because I have to do an immigration assessment (I’m Canadian) What’s reasonable amount to expect? TC: Def not Tree Fiddy!
Same shit happened to me and a couple of others. Don’t agree for the lower level. You’ll see much lesser qualified people at same or higher level than you. Worse, you’ll end up reporting to one of them. Recruiters and leveling is shit in PM land at Uber.
Same thing happened to me. I was interviewing for one level and they got back to me saying I'm being offered one lower level (PM). I told them I'll get back to them but haven't yet.

For sure! That’s a rational reason perhaps! I wasn’t really focused on why...I was more focused on what that means as an outcome.
