loan depot reputation?
recently got a good quote from loandepot (15yrs fixed, 2.625% with 3k closing) does anyone familiar with this company or have expereience with them? want to know their reputation. Should I go with big bank like WF just to be safe? give some advices...
I just refi'd with loan depot in Jan 2020. They were great and I would recommend them. Way better rates and processing fees than big banks like Chase and WF

Negotiate with them for a full closing cost coverage. I got the same quote from them for $0 closing costs. As such it’s a loan, not a deposit, so doesn’t really matter. If the company closes shop after giving you the loan, the paperwork get transferred over to the new company with no change to your loan, so you can’t go wrong with it
I have processed one of my refi with them in 2018z They were good in my case. Fast and easy.
