Range for this band is really wide (~72K-179K). Trying to figure out what a reasonable salary expectation would be for the particular role being offered based out of PHL. This would be a lateral move for me in terms of the work required, but it would likely offer an increase in title (VP). There is also limited bonus potential here (discretionary only). I am also interviewing for comparable roles in NYC at other banks/asset managers that start at $160K (VP/Director level). I was thinking a reasonable range for the PNC role could be $150-160K in PHL. This is definitely on the higher end for PNC, but I don't want to undersell myself and don't think I would be willing to go for less than $150K. Questions: 1. Does anyone have experience negotiating in the c4 band at PNC as an external hire? 2. General thoughts about setting salary expectations near the top of a band? 3. Is there generally a bigger gap between NYC and PHL salaries?
