Spotify LTIs?
Can someone at Spotify answer: how often do you get new LTI grants (the RSUs / the “incentive mix program”)? Got an offer from Spotify that includes an LTI of $255k over 4 years at the Senior Engineer level. I asked if I get a fresh grant each year and the recruiter only vaguely said something like “new equity grants are performance driven”. What does that mean in practice? For the large middle section of people who get the middle/standard rating, do they get new grants each year? Is it only for people who get the top performance spot? Something else?

Regrants are extremely uncommon, annual regrant is not a thing, top performers might get regrants, but it’s top of the top, like 0.5% of the company. Regrants on extreme performance are smaller than promotion regrant (4-5 digits vs 6 digits), but later is not guaranteed.
Regrants are not a thing. You might get some at a promotion, and it’s possible at salary review time but in 5 years promo was the only time I got another grant after my initial.
