Considering an offer from Palantir PI org. Recently been reading some negative reviews around super long hours and a not so defined career growth especially with the flat org structure. Having said that, most of these reviews are heavily biased so want to get some view from Palantarians here on blind. Note: Been at Meta for 5+ years, so its not like I am looking for a sweet 9-5. But neither would I want to spend 10-12 hrs every day at work. TC: E5 SWE, 340K (after stock drop + cliff) #palantir
I'm obviously biased but I personally like it here. Hours depend on the team but over 50hrs/wk is rare. The flat structure has its pros and cons I suppose - you can make large contributions shortly after joining, but it can feel like there's little transparency regarding comp growth / responsibilities. Overall I think it's a company that gets less enjoyable the more experienced you get, but there are internal efforts to try and change that - plus I find most people who work here very pleasant to work with.
can you elaborate on what those internal efforts are? also my Blind confirmation email seems to have been blocked by Outlook, is there a workaround?
