Gotham/foundry are google drawings so you can annotate maps and draw circles on charts. The only reasons they make money is because of how bureaucratic and sluggish the clients are—random gov sub-agencies. Contracts are also surprisingly small, unlike what you would expect from the headlines. The "ontology" is a scam and is more a figure of speech/embellishment than any concrete technology. AIP is a total scam. Wrapper on langchain and GPT 4 with cool UI so users can feel "analytical" and like "hackers" Sales people are leaving the company in droves. All the smart OGs are gone. Spaghetti code. No project management, especially in Foundations (the new org for infra). Infra is a total mess, in fact. I'm surprised how developers even get work done there. Then again it's all new grads who didn't get return offers from their legit FAANG internships so they're stuck at PLTR and they get high to the culture about "advancing Western institutions" (lmfao- aka pumping a meme stock so the founders can finally exit this scam 20 years in the making). Oh, and one more thing: Palantir has blocked all employees from signing up for blind since 2022/early 2023 (sends an alert to your manager). The only Palantir people on blind are HR/marketing shillers. I'm still holding PLTR stock only because I know that beneath all this ostensible "tech" is just an elaborate pump, nothing more.
Just like 99% of B2B SaaS startups out there. Not quite a scam but certainly full of Mickey Mouse work under the hood. Unfortunately every other analytics startup is like this, Palantir is one of the biggest names so their clients wound leave.
People seriously have NO idea how true this is!
Isn't this the truth of the software industry? Why isn't most gov software mandated to be open source? Heard it works well for the people of Estonia etc
Tell me you have never used any Palantir Product without telling me
What’s the Apollo product like? Is it effectively a k8s platform with some extra sauce?
It is specialized for difficult / air-gapped deployments. I think it’s just them productionizing their learnings from deploying microservices on a truck in Afghanistan via an unstable satellite connection. Not sure how useful it is for your average company
Farming and maritime use maybe?
Lol
I know I'm being a little shameless here but can I please get a referral?
Wouldn’t say it’s a scam, but come on you have to admit the stock pumping is ridiculous.
Why is bro so mad?
There is a reason that CEO really hates short sellers as he mentioned in an interview
Data is the new oil and they harvest a ton of it
Data is the new gold (10 years ago) Now: Gold is the new Gold
Anyone who says data is the new oil is certified dumb as shit
Palantir is a money supplier for Neocons, they go running to anyone eager to push for wars in Middle East and push for ZioN@zee thefts and murder ! PALANTIR is run by disease carrying bloodlusters
Here you dropped your tinfoil hat
Tinfoil hat? Global conflict is fantastic for government contractors. They made tens of billions as a result of the Iraq war. This isn't a "conspiracy theory" it's just basic common sense.
This company must have a lot of business geniuses to make it work
They are bleeding money and talent. Their stock is a meme stock, no different than GME, AMC, etc
They just went profitable, so wether they are bleeding money or not doesn’t matter as long as their quarter to quarter revenue increases as well as profit
