Palm Springs/ Palm Desert
Has anyone been to palm springs/palm desert? Is it a good place for vacation? Any suggestions for things to see, etc! Thanks! TC: 300k(2 YOE)
Yeah. Stayed at the Ace. Loved it.
I searched for it. Was it worth it? I see per night avg of $300. Also, what was your room type?
Yeah it’s more a resort style place. Lots of activities. Loved the bingo night. Food I thought was excellent. I def didn’t spend 300 though... I think it was closer to $220 and we got an upgrade to a suite

Lots to do in Palm Springs. Everything from going up the tram to San Jauqinto mountain to touring through interesting neighborhoods filled with midmod houses.
Any hotel recommendations? Should I stay in palm springs or palm desert?
Stay in one of the the airbnb midmods if you can... Much better than hotels. I prefer palm Springs, but I'm not a golfer. Other things to do: Aviation museum Shields Date Farm and get a date shake Salton sea tours Joshua tree
Why would someone mention the TC in such a post?
To set a range at what people might recommend. No point recommending a high end hotel with at sub 100 TC

Hiking, rock climbing, bicycling... It doesn’t matter much where you stay as long as it is close to actions.
They have some nice desert hikes, and lots of mid century modern architecture, if you’re into that.
They have some really good gay resorts if that’s your thing.
