What are the levels at Palo Alto Networks and how do they compare with the ladder at Cisco? What about salary for a role equivalent to Technical Lead at Cisco? And bonuses/early pay raises? TC: ~400k #paloaltonetworks #cisco #tech #tc
400K at Cisco 😱
Yep. 150k base, 230 stocks and ~20 bonus. Could you respond to my queries?
Ok I am still in shock .. you have 230K stock per year? I was G11 at Cisco and came in as T9 (principal)
Current level at Cisco? Location?
G10, Bay Area
PAN will be slightly better than Cisco in terms of TC. Your TC is 150 + 20 + 230/4 = 227k at Cisco not 400k 🤣 Look for opportunities inside FAANG, which can get you more than 300k TC annually with your 5 yoe.
Ok. This is not how others seem to post the TC on most of the threads here
PAN pays a lot better than cisco usually and can even beat fg at times Side note, more than 300k for 5 yoe at ‘faang’ is definitely not the average (except for netflix). Check levels.
@cisco it seems your mistaken your tc is actually 227. Thats how others calculate their TC
Yup that how everybody caliculates TC, u r the only one who thought u r making 400K per annum 🤣
G10 - 5yoe - 230k This is really good for Cisco. Are you a generic SDE?
What is a generic SDE? If you mean non-researcher roles, then yes
Maybe not the right thread, what’s comp look like for sales at PA? 5yoe + 205K TC. Specialist seller at Cisco
I heard 250k is max stocks you get at panw for principal while joining. That true?
You must be working for Insieme to pull this TC.
I was shocked after reading 400K Tc. Got relieved after going over comments. Actual TC is ~207k...OP is misleading blind users😜
Afaik Palo Alto pays more than Cisco
