Pandora comp negotiation advice

Hi People I am expecting an offer from Siriusxm/pandora and recruiter has asked me the expectation on the comp side for Senior SE NY/NJ location. Recruiter is not ready to budge much from the number he is proposing. Base: 180k Bonus: 10% Equity: 150k (37.5k/yr 4 years vesting) TC: ~230k How do I negotiate these numbers to higher. Since I am negotiating after soo long I am not much seasoned than the people here on blinds. One disadvantage is I do not have a competing offer in hand to leverage. Also any pandora people here do you think I can push for higher numbers or if there is scope in pushing for higher numbers in any component? I really liked talking to the team and have good feelings about the team. Not sure if they are low balling. YOE: 11 Current TC: 180k #pandora #siriusxm #companysalaries #negotiateoffer

Location ? That’s a pretty good offers in terms of SiriusXM pay ranges. Any reason why you want to move from JP to company like SXMP ?

Move to product base firm as well as if I can get better pay as in same job does not earn good pay growth.JP does not pay well when you in company for long. Whats your take on the JP > siriusxm move? I also feel siriusxm is lowballing me, based on the YOE I should be easily get into staff role. Is it that hard to get a staff role at 11 YOE?

Seems reasonable to me. Another perk to consider — permanent 1/2 day fridays.

If senior, target bonus should be 15%. That’s a decent offer for dinosaur SXM tbh. Managers have been having an awful hard time hiring lately. Your greatest leverage if you don’t have a competing offer is your willingness to walk away. But if these are initial numbers then there’s for sure some room for more. Echoing what’s already been mentioned it was recently announced that half day Fridays are continuing indefinitely, meaning you get to log off at 12:30pm local time every Friday. Combined with the already stellar WLB I think per hour of work you’re doing better than most people with that TC. It’s a great place to work really. Edit - I’ll also add that equity vesting is now 25% after the first year and 6.25% quarterly thereafter, whereas it was once a year before. SXM is stingy with equity so I’m not sure how much more you can negotiate. Also your role should basically be full WFH with minimal if any in office expectation with the SXM flex work model.
