Has anyone done it? Do you think it's worth it for a SDE with 2~3 years of experience looking to become an engineering manager in the future? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
You probably won't transition directly into management with that. Might help over a few years after graduation. If you want direct transition, do part time MBA while working towards your goal
It's a lot of work for a tiny tiny advantage, I would focus more on lead experience transitioning to a manager. Also mba is a bad word in engineering circles, substitute it with bigger engineering lifecycle ownership and mentoring others to get to management.
Quite a lot of work. You learn exactly what you need for management roles. But again it's just textbooks and mock up situations they made to help you learn. In order to move to manager role I think it's your leadership instinct that is matter. If you go part time your peers will be people working the industry. Many of them surprisingly are PM.

What do you think is wrong with a kid who got rejected by 9 colleges?
Maybe do some LinkedIn surfing to see what Eng managers have this degree?
