You'll be working with Worldwide Public Sector (WWPS) partners (external startups/consultants/contractors) who support the overall federal/state/local public sector.
You will help these partners work their way through our internal tiers and become a "branded" partner. Basically if you want to be recognized by AWS as a legitimate partner these companies need to staff employees with verified AWS experience/certifications. Your job is to act a bit like an account manager and help guide these partners into getting certs/attending workshops/and classes.
Obviously this costs them money but it's an investment as it should increase their revenue long term. This kinda makes your job a bit of a hybrid between sales and account management.
