Would love to ask more about the role if anyone has insights. https://www.facebookcareers.com/life/partner-engineering-at-facebook/ But specifically for this post, wondering is the recruitment and onboarding much different? Seems like still LC medium but maybe one less round during on-site? Also, do they still go through bootcamp? Also max TC for this role at E4 (IC4)? Recruiter during initial call pretty much said 200k is where they’d start but can obviously go up based on interview performance and competing offers. Thanks, TC 160K 1.5 YOE #meta #facebook
Just recently joined as PE for AR/VR. The IC4 offer should be higher than 200 for HCOL areas such as MPK. I don’t wanna say where I am but I’m in a HCOL area, and my offer was 275k TC. Bootcamp is same as a SWE, all engineers go through bootcamp.
also the earlier reply is accurate for the interview, it was much easier compared to SWE loop
Thanks for the great info!!! Is easy/medium leetcode enough? We’re your questions tagged as Facebook on leetcode?
Agreed with Voya. I had been prepping for L4/L5 interviews at multiple tech companies and this one felt easiest. Think blind 75 or fb tagged questions would do it
I’m the same person that made the first comment btw. Got my TC finalized, it’s around 320k for HCOL area although I was trying for IC5 and got leveled at IC4 so I might be in the upper 4 band for that reason
Thanks! DM me for offer breakdown.
good news friends. moving to onsite. the 1 coding round seems straightforward leetcode. Curious about differences for the behavioral that I should be aware of here given there are 2 rounds of that? Also, any pointers on what to study for system design?
@op - did you get the offer ? If so, please your TC with breakdown pls
@OP. Do you mind sharing your phone interview experience?
I had one recently got two LC easy/medium type questions.
Thank you. Do they do the same questions from leetcode or do they do with slight variations?. Blind 75 and Fb tagged questions will do?
Any idea what is the difference between the 2 behavioral rounds?

Hi there, I'm about to sign an offer for this role at Meta. To answer some questions: Phone screen was maybe 2 LC medium/easy Onsite - 2 behavioral, 1 LC, 1 sys design. All felt easy Onboarding (recently found out) is similar to SWE, the entire 4-6 week bootcamp is required for Partner engineers too Can't comment on TC for a little bit of time as I'm still in the process. I do have one competing offer that is pretty high, so I'm hoping this isn't much lower.
Thank you so much. I’m pretty excited about this role actually. Mind if I DM u so we can chat more?
Yeah feel free to DM me. Sorry I might have mistakenly made multiple accounts on blind
