Why do you think a newer(5years) and small (100 employees) company has turnover within the partner group (partners are about 10% of company size)? Company is financially doing well, increased revenue yoy...
Or they got something which you won't
Often partners leave when (a) they think they can make it on their own (I.e.- 100% of firm profit into their pocket) or (b) another firm offers them a greater share of the revenue they generate (again, more money) or (c) they are asked to leave because they're deadweight and not selling as much new business as other partners. RE (c), a firm can be doing well financially and still have a few partners not carrying their own weight. One way to increase profitability further is to get rid of them.
I wouldn't be too concerned
Do you guys do exit interviews? Maybe that can help narrow down the why?
No. Beyond partners exiting, they’ve been thinning out admin / office staff (consulting agency). The latter I support being too top heavy, and with it, lose processes // definitely no exit interviews.
They know something you don't.
