Partnerships Team @ Google

It looks like there are a few partnerships roles open at Google, judging by my recent search and the threads here about them! I just submitted an app this week for Strategic Partner Development Mngr, news and publishing partnerships one but can't tell if that level is for me (with 8 yrs experience in partner mgmt in media, magazines, fintech; 10 yrs total in workforce). Wondering if I even have a chance or if I'm under/overqualified? And how would I know if I get the interview? Do they email?
