I got an offer from Workday. Thinking to join or not. What is typical salary for senior software engineer there? (Base, bonus and RSUs) for a person with 10 years experience. Also how is the tech stack there especially in Cloud group? Do they use latest technologies?
Pay is good, refresh is excellent. Culture is solid in my opinion. I don't know a ton about eBay's culture or pay but imagine Workday is better in the long run as a career move.
is it like F G A?
Foundation of Government Accountability?
I know the tech stack there and looks like they lag behind silicon valley tech firms. I got a feeling they are slow to adopt new technologies. Wondering if my observation is correct
100%
Explain? I feel like this varies by team and could be said about some but not others
The only thing that needs overhaul / innovation is the internal tooling framework which has been around forever (Xpresso). I feel like the rest of the teams in tech are all using modern languages, tools, frameworks.
Many many oracle alums at workday. Don't expect the culture or pay to the level of G, FB

Nope. Just ... not true.

Also i was told there is no bonus structure in workday. Is it true? If yes, then how do they compete with other tech firms with regards to pay?
Refresh is the strongest in the Bay IMO
