My recruiter at PayPal (India) informed that RSUs (not ESPP) to new employees are granted at a reduced rate ($73.11 / stock in my case) instead of the real time (last 30 days') averaging of the PayPal stocks during the joining time. This (reduced) price is determined by the organisation. Need confirmation on this information from existing PayPal folks / new joinees at PayPal India. Please help / guide. TC = 46 LPA #paypal #paypalRSUs #paypalIndia #tech
Yes you don’t have to pay for RSU..but you will get certain number of shares which depends on the total $amount mentioned in your offer letter divided by 30 days average stock price in real time
