Just about noon today, I received a bunch of emails from PayPal about positions that I had applied to, stating that they are no longer hiring for those positions. A recruiter had reached out some time back, saying that they would soon talk to the hiring managers for those positions and schedule interviews. And today I got these emails. Is this standard PayPal verbiage for rejection, or is it that they are entering a hiring freeze?
There isn’t a hiring freeze but what I heard from my manager was that due to their workforce basically doubling in size during the pandemic, they are going through a stricter review process when it comes to opening new reqs/hiring. It’s also pretty standard that if they close a position to receive a generic email.
Dude PayPal as a Company Froze. What do u mean by Hiring
Lololol
Don’t expect to hear from them any time soon about an offer
That doesn’t sound like standard rejection verbiage
