Google L4 Offer vs. Current Flexible Job : Seeking Advice
No idea about Infineon but TI is historically good in terms of being a good employer. 20% profit sharing, and they hit that last year, so you could be potentially at 120k for the next year. Do what's right for you in terms of title and career growth, cuz that title difference of tech vs engineer might make a difference in your next gig. Whatever it is, I love techs and doing technician work, though I'm a design engineer myself. Best of luck friend!
Thank you very much for your response I appreciate it
As for semiconductor companies TI is pretty good balance of interesting work and stability (quite well diversified). There are general challenges with the semiconductor industry if you can handle it (lower margins, 24 hour operations, mature field), but each has its own. Majority of ppl I know who leave don’t like how semicon vendors work in general, not really a gripe unique against company itself
