People becoming less collaborative
I have had a feeling lately that due to COVID19 and due to bad wlb due to wfh people have become less collaborative these days. People have stopped replying on mails and teams chat. Not answering queries. Anyone else also feeling so? #covid #wfh #microsoft #amazon #google
Companies just keep up the good work on pipping people and you should know what to do every day then.
Yea when you are in the office, and ask something in person, they can’t ignore you. Now they have a great environment to ignore you safely, you can’t even call them out on it, since the excuse is ready: ohhh I didn’t see your email or ohhh I was super busy with some urgent issue
Best part of wfh if you ask me. Not to avoid work but avoid the low performers that try to leach of you and get you do things for them. Now can just focus on finishing own work.
You could have ignore my post as well, but you chose to reply to it. So you are asking for attention here, which would make you a low performer by your crooked standards.
Yes. True to an extent. I asked few of them and they said they just don't prefer texting or replying to emails. It's more easier to have face to face interactions. I also started getting pain in my wrist with constant typing. I think the collaboration is going to decrease even further.
Yes. It’s dreadful trying to get anything done internally. Clients are even worse. I hate this.
Just people are more distracted now. Kids screaming requires immediate attention. So that half written email gets forgotten.
