what are you an expert in? and what were his ideas?
Expert in manufacturing. Things like wanting to remove calibration steps that were required to make the system function, removing all stop buttons from equipment and only having go buttons, removing in line inspection equipment for the most critical processes in terms of defects leading to scrap/escapes, wanting to cover over contaminated areas rather then property deal with them, manufacturing electronics in a building that couldn’t even keep rain from leaking on multi million dollar equipment then trying to fix the leaks with plastic tarps vs roof repairs. Basically stuff like that.

I have never worked for microsoft but i once saw Satya Nadella in a sound transit bus. I spoke to him for 5 mins & he is extremely down to earth and acknowledged that it was indeed him. I even asked him for career advice.
