People who accepted counter to stay; how long did you stay?

Why go to competitor and not just leave defense all together?
Work Life balance is unreal. Haven’t made it to a TPM interview yet at Amazon. Maybe one day. I’m finishing up my PHD in December

You just plain should not accept counter offers.
Why’s that? Genuinely curious
It depends on the situation. Some employers may not see you as “loyal” anymore and will seek for your replacement.
