1:3 is a swag ratio ... can vary highly by company / location/ designation ... ie if u get a 100k usd in USA you could get 22-25 lakh INR per annum in India
40% of US TC after converting to Indian Rupees. For ex: if you are making $100k in the US, your Indian TC would be $40k but in Rupees.

At this experience I would keep my focus on saving more money and keep moving in the world on vacation, which is ideally possible in US.
