People who wish for layoffs @google
I’ve seen so many people on here wish for @google to do mass layoffs. It’s just a weird fetish at this point and I think it’s envy. “I can’t have it so why should they” types of mentalities get you no where. Stop hating and wish people the best.
It’s also creates negativity, which is not really needed.
I don’t wish for layoffs for anyone. I’ve been saying Google isn’t immune to layoffs and been getting attacked for it.

What if I have invested money in Google and I would like them to run business as frugal as possible during this recession period. #capitalism
Nobody is immune to layoffs. I am going to Google so this makes me nervous. Oh well. What annoys me is this investors perspective that tech workers are making too much. Wth. "Oh these drones are making too much and we cannot just sip on massive profits." Well who thinks creates the value asshole? If it was up to them we would be treated like construction workers or coal miner's or manufacturing workers (it is also very fucked up that they are paid near nothing and some business guys reap all the profit). I suspect they are trying to push for tech salaries to drop all over the board. If that happens then maybe I will finally have the courage to do my own startup.
That's exactly what an activist investor said in an open letter to Google management. "Compensation needs to come down". They've been waiting a decade for the chance to drive down eng salaries and can barely contain their excitement now that they see the chance.
Fuck them. Anytime my tc decreases I will leave. If the time comes I can't find anything, i am starting my own thing

But they never wish top university professors or doctors to be laid off, because they have amazing skills/knowledge and have Respect from people. Why do people wish Google layoff? Maybe not because they are jealous, it's because Google overhire a lot of leetcode monkeys that bring down industry prestige, and the company's vision don't bring good to society (selling users data for ads, etc. Please refer to social dilemma on Netflix). People dislike for a reason, there are thousands of fancy/wealthy people that have respect and true blessings from people.
Wishing good or bad for people has literally zero effect, so honestly it does not matter.

It spreads negativity which hurts peoples mental health. I wouldn’t want anybody to feel the anxiety that we’re going through at Amazon.
