People with Financial Advisors - How Much Do They Charge?

Hey, I’m consulting with a financial advisor that several of my family members have worked with and recommended. He’d manage all my assets, advise on investments, saving/budgeting and major purchases, and help me plan for financial goals. He would charge 1% of the assets he manages annually. I’m curious how this compares to what other people with financial advisors pay. More, less, etc? Note: I am not interested in anyone’s argument over why I shouldn’t hire a financial advisor, strictly in how much they charge. Thanks! TC 230k

1% is standard as far as I’m aware

> 1%. Ours does the same…active management, full service. It can also depend on how much you have under management.

Shouldn’t it be 1 percent of gains he made annually?
