A friend of mine can refer me to Pepsico .. what level should I look for if I want to make $200-240k ? I used to be a finance manager L6 with direct reports I talked with someone at Nike saying I want to make $230k-280k total... they told me this is "director" level comp... I wonder if Pepsco/Nestle would be about the same?
Apply for Director level at cpg for similar comp. You need to avoid the manager roles.
Doubt you can go from L6 FM at Amazon to director at one of these companies
For Nestle, Director level positions will give you this level of TC. Expect to be able to manage avr 4 direct reports that might include people managers and expect co-owning the numbers vs supporting because at the director level you will get pretty much no supervising. Can’t say for sure but I agree with stonks4u, very unlikely to move from L6 Amazon to director level at Nestle.
Why can’t he move from L6 to Director @ Nestle?
Yes I worked at Keurig and this is director level comp.

If your team does daily standups, your manager is a micromanager
Likely yes - those are pretty consistent with CPG Director comps.
