As eng managers and engineers, we all know that perf reviews are subjective. Facebook has a perf review tool that shows stats like diff counts, diff reviewed etc, which at least intend to offer objective data. There is also a similar GitHub app PR count (prcount.com). Would you like to see tools alike used in your company during perf reviews to reduce biases with objective data?
WTF?! Does the *number* of lines changed or PRs reviewed/created really have bearing on impact?
They are one of the inputs. LOC is a bad metrics to begin with. But PR count offers some what objective data.
