I am considering an offer at the CME group, and I would like insights into the process of mid and year-end performance management. From my discussions with the interview team, it's based on goals, but I have been burned at CapitalOne several times, and I would like to go in fully informed. Bonus depends on group you are joining. If you are engineer supporting trade applications then definitely you will get more than target bonus, for other teams +/- target bonus. performance goal is joke (mostly), if you are in good terms with your manager (and his immediate boss i.e. Director) then you will get promotions / bonuses .. for all others forget about it.
You dont have to worry. Platform is a cash cow and you will mostly get 100% bonus. They also have a pension plan. You really have to do something wrong to get less than the expected bonus. ( I am from engineering side )
