Perm to green card
How long is it from filing the perm to the DOL to getting the green card to not China/India countries?

Took 24 months...could have been 18 but what heck we have those now...
Mine took 12 months from start of application to having an interview and physically getting the green card.
When was your i485 filing date?
We started preparing paperwork September 2016. PERM filed December 2016 and approved February 2017. I 140 and i-485 filed April 2017. EAD+AP should had arrived August but arrived November. Final approvals were expected around December 2017 but lawyers say right now they are processing i140s from January which means they are 4 months behind schedule and I expect everything to arrive by April 2018.
How many of you don’t mind waiting a year more so that some family in the line for last 10years get the green card a year earlier?
18-24m last I heard, but since then they've added in person interviews for everyone which probably adds a couple months.
