I accepted an offer at Lucid motors. The company is actively hiring despite having cash only for the next 5 quarters. Knowing that they will have to raise cash, I know the stock options they offer me will probably be worth less in 2 years. Is it a good idea to still join them ? I think given their cash burn rate, and poor sales record - a round of layoffs this year is inevitable. #LucidMotors #EV
I would not leave Caterpillar for Lucid unless you are on PIP or in a bad situation there.
Yeah bro - all EV startups are going through cash crunch and layoffs right now. I wouldn't leave an established company to join a startup that is hemorrhaging cash and has no clear pathways for profitability in the near future.
Lucid is a sinking ship. Join them if you’re desperate.
Let’s sink together
Don’t make the mistake, we are screwed here and you’ll be looking for another job after you join but it will be too late then.
Run away from ev start ups. It's too late for them and lucid is a sinking ship.
Only if you don’t have a job!
Last resort only. Company is a sh*t show.

If you’re unemployed and need the money, then join, but I wouldn’t quit a stable job for them.
Totally agree
