Philips Healthcare Mechanical Project Engineer

Hey folks! Can you please share some insight into Philips Healthcare? I'm looking at their ME PM position in Bothell, WA (Seattle area) 9 YOE TC Culture Additional Benefits (Vacation/401k/Healthcare) Upward Mobility #PM #Philips #Healthcare #Engineer #Mechanical #health #career

Can't comment on TC. But it's a pretty hierarchical structure and culture, but no BS company. They are conservative. At the same time they have decent benefits. 7% 401k matching. Cg 60 gets 10% bonus. Cg 70 gives you bonus in terms of rsus. 15 days vacation to start with. Grows with tenure. Have been working for them for 7 years now. You have growth opportunities but they are not easy.

I left the company recently, better opportunities abound.

Where did you end up going?

Depends on which group you're going into. I was in the Oral Healthcare Division, HQ is in the Netherlands. Unless you're Dutch and on an executive leadership rotation program, you won't go anywhere. Also it's a consensus driven culture from bottom to top, instead of decision ownership to the boots on the ground.
