Phone Interview Test Cases
Hi folks, I was wondering how test cases are presented during phone interviews ? Is it like when we submit solution on Leetcode and the OJ tells us which specific test case didn't pass ? Or does it only say a test case didn't pass with no further details ? Also is it required that all test cases pass with first submission ? Thanks ! TC: N/A a.k.a $0

OP. Igonre the negativity. Some engineers are a holes.
They generally don't present test cases. They might give u one or two sample input and output to explain the problem. After solving they ask u to come up with test cases to see how well u think in those terms.
They might later on if they have doubts about ur code. Generally ur solution will either be obviously right or most interviewers will be able to spot problems as they probably have asked same question multiple times. If u have enough time left they might try to guide u towards finding those problems urself.

Usually it’s just a verbal communication thing due to time constraints. “Oh I would test, odd, even, empty, null, etc.”

There is no test cases in phone interviews. You have to come up with your own
