Got an email from recruiter from Amazon after a phone screen saying they have decided to pursue other candidates for the role and they will return the resume to the recruiting database. I thought the phone screen went well and was able to solve the coding problem easily. Was wondering if this because they extended an offer to someone else or just their polite way of rejecting candidates. 7 yoe/320 K
Your post sounds more like you are in denial phase.... aww i am from Facebook how could amazon do that to me
Yes, it did caught me by surprise. I am fine with being rejected as long as I understand the reasons, so I can improve.
... it did "catch" ... So long as you want to learn.
No offense, but do you sound like a d*ck on the phone?
Maybe failed on Leadership principles? If you interviewed for L6 then it’s quite possible..
Did they ask any LP questions? Are you sure that you understood the question right? There are so many things which can go wrong in interviews.
