90% of their user base is women who follow fashion & homemaking trends. The type that are always saying “OMG, look at that cute outfit” 10x a day.

Agreed. Have never used Pinterest, but blind hatred is weird. FB gets a lot of that, even though for different reasons, but I feel you. Hope you guys keep growing, despite any temporary setbacks!
