How does Pinterest calculate the stock grant price/units? Is it based on the prior month closing average price or some other criteria? Is the reference date taken as the joining date or the offer accept date? Are the RSU units calculated for all the 4 year vesting period? Or is this computed every year based on avg price in that year prior month? Suppose offer is $800K/4yr RSUs, offer accept date is 15th April and joining date is 1st May. The avg price (assuming prior month) is $20, then - Is price calculated as avg daily closing price of April month or some other criteria? - how are total RSUs calculated: Option 1: 40000 units over 4 year Option 2: 10000 units for year 1, then rest computed based on average price per year. Current TC: 270K Offer details: Pending Disclaimer: I’m new to RSU grant policy, so this question might be too naive for others. #pinterest #rsus

Unless it’s changed, price is average of last 60 days. Don’t know which date is used as the starting point for this, but screws us in downturns, helps in uptrends. Option 1. That being said, comp structure is changing this month so not sure if this will change and how if so.
How is comp structure changing?
