I have strong L6 offers from Lyft and Pinterest. I really like the team at Pinterest. The project is somewhat related to what I do currently but with lot more autonomy and growth. The project at Lyft involves machine learning. I have been wanting to work in machine learning for some time but do not have real world ML experience. Very high visibility, new challenge. One of the most important things I want is work life balance. I am also very sure I want to switch. Comp is > 600k for both offers. If it matters, Lyft pays about $100k more. Lyft's RSU vesting schedule is fixed $ per year. Which one would you pick and more importantly WHY?
ML = machine learning. Updated post.
Voted Pinterest because I think their outlook is more favorable than Lyft’s.
Agreed. For some reason left never diversified or failed to do so
Lyft stock is flatter than a COVID ICU EKG
So Lyft > 700k
yes
Pinterest all the way 1. There is no upside for lyft. The whole gig economy isnt promising and lyft isnt even a strong player there 2. Vesting schedule limits any potential upside for Lyft offer if there’s growth Are you L5 at G?
How is Uber doing nowadays?
You should probably go look at the stock price bruv
Are you an L5 at G?
I thought Pinterest is bought by PayPal. Will you get PayPal stock?

Pinterest. Lyft sucks cause 1 year vesting grants. No upside. Are you currently L5 or L6 at google?
Which one did you decide on? I have some questions about Lyft. Can I dm?
