Why is our country owned by Israel? I don't want my tax dollars fund genocide. How can we stop this nonsense?
~7 years experience,.diploma in ee, BA,.and upcoming MS.of DS. Mid 30s Grew quickly in F500, leadership and management promotions. Solid engineer in controls, electrical, software (logical stuff, not typical cs), manufacturing and supply chain too...and global experience.... Joined a startup as a director...it sucks and my total comp is ~170K w/ options after year 1, but its a worthless venture.....will not last. Bay area based, finishing MS of DS in couple months.....i like DS, am a decent programmer, and lots of real world experience....i feel like DS and SW are pivotal for exciting roles in DS, and im wondering....should i pivot and become a DS? Earn my SW stripes? Moving from dir. Title, and go to IC for a bit? I hesitated for a while....but maybe it's worth it....i genuinely enjoy digital transformation, and i see that in general they want SW skills... Priority #1 is salary and pay....then skill growth.... Any thoughts?
Go for real software engineering. Lots of opportunities and lot more TC.
Too much of a stretch dont you think? I already have 7 years exp ...and what about my ms of ds?
Easier to get SDE job. Just leetcode. If you are good at coding, you can try SDE also.
