Wondering how working for Workday is. Is there a good work/life balance. I hear pay is a bit low but wanted to get an idea about culture and if people like it
Is the tech stack still proprietary?
Apps are, yes
Great culture! Potential to grow in your career.
Pay and WLB way better than Deloitte that's for sure. WD is great and if you're in eng/PM, our annual refreshers can compete with any Bay Area company.
Overall Workday is solid. Your growth and comp will largely depend on where you join. Are you talking about services? For Services, I would accept slightly lower pay for how amazing it is to be here. For eng, it depends. For Sales, it’s great.
Within services wlb varies greatly between product areas. Technical positions are probably more demanding time wise, functional requires domain experience. FINs, Prism and HCM are ok, the newer areas like student, wcp can be the shits.
