I'm coming to Seattle / Bellevue area for a new SWE role that I have accepted. I'm a mature person, Male, 38 yrs old and super, clean, quiet and responsible. Never drink, smoke or anything of theat sort. I just come home to rest and sleep. I don't need kitchen access either, just a room ( can be really small also) and a bathroom with shower. Most rental places that I find are too exensive for me as I'm financially supporting my young siblings and a relative's family's children (the kids lost their parents in a car accident). Both my immediate family and these kids all live back home. I was wondering if anyone would have a room that you would want to rent? Thank you so much for your help, Best,
It's pretty straightforward to find a ~$800/mo room to rent in the Bellevue-Redmond suburbs via sites like Craigslist
Yes they are over my budget unfortunately.. Can afford maximum of 600/month
Your best bet is to share a bedroom with someone else and split the rent
Well gotta share with college kids then with that budget if you want in seattle or nearby place. Or else go further away from SLU as much as possible.
I just don't see someone accepting a 38 yr old male to share a room. The best option is to connect with a faith based community for someone to rent you a room. They may get nosy about the support you provide and your stability. Sorry about your family hardships. Good luck!
