I have been away from US job market since I am working in a foreign country for 5 years. Currently I am a senior cybersecurity consultant at EY, but planning to move back to the States possibly to Virginia (govt related jobs are fine for me) or Seattle. Looks like every EY employee don't recommend getting a job at EY (or any other big 4) , so don't know where to get my foot in the door. Should I pursue my career as a consultant or find other IT security related jobs? In addition, does anyone in EY know the process of transitioning from EY office to other EY office? Do you interview for fun?
I would try to stay with EY while transitioning my life then try to find another job if I wasnt happy after I transitioned my life outside of work to the new location
Yeah, I was thinking of same..maybe transferring to EY US office then find a new place if the position there is not a good fit
