Never heard of company called “Guidewire” before. One recruiter reached our and finally got an offer from them. Ok with compensation. Just want to know about the culture there. Can anyone provide insights. #tech
Despite one of the best 1/4s the company has ever had, execs are still in “Must cut every cost possible in order to make love to our shareholders” mode, so everything is still “cheapest” possible including sht budgets & more potential layoffs.

Well said.
Wlb is good. Pay is decent. There are some talented folks in the org and some projects can be good learning experience. But the overall pace of work is slow and can get a bit repetitive at times. Do you know which team this is for ? And tc
Good time to join. Company is profitable with promising upside. Pay is good. No blaming back stabbing culture. Less politics in engineering. Most of the engineering Directors and VPs are technical, they connect well with engineers. Challenging technical problems and modern tech stack in teams like Data Platform, GWCP, and Microservices teams. Which team?
Hi, how is PDO team? I'm having an interview of ML engineer gen AI and would like to learn more about culture & tech stack & job security
It's a good company. The complaints others mentioned are legitimate, pay increases are not as good as they can be. But Guidewire is a public company, the market leader in insurance software with even more room to grow. Not super fast paced means stress isn't bad, and the office is empty by 5:00 on in-office days. ICs have decent amount of autonomy and folks I've worked with are really high caliber engineers. Politics aren't bad. I hope you find it to be a good fit.
Politics gets worse and worse
Can u tell me YOE and TC , i have rounds next week
