Please advise! Speeding Ticket

I got a speeding ticket and I’m wondering what’s best between: 1. paying the ticket + attend school, or 2. Fight the ticket I don’t really have an issue paying the ticket and investing the time in attending the school with the goal of getting it off my record and move on, but I find all type of opinions pushing towards fighting the ticket. Having to fight the ticket as the best option is really uncomfortable to me, involving lawyers sounds like creating trouble to resolve trouble, and like making a bigger mess!
I was in similar dilemma, i just paid the ticket and attend school online(this takes like 30-40 mins only) cost 10-20$ i guess. By this way it goes into your record, no-one(insurance) will find it out. Just do that, don’t waste time on this. ✌🏼

If you just pay it it'll go on your record. Take the class
Fight if you have legal plan from work. Lawyers are covered.
Were you guilty? If yes, do the time (fine + school) else fight. Don't over complicate things. Be a good citizen.

I paid the fine, didn’t have to attend classes. Got the ticket in 2021 I think. A month back i.e. 2024 got pulled over for speeding again but didn’t get a ticket. Was let go with a warning. So I assume the record from 2021 got wiped out …
