While I agree that lawsuit was just pure greed and I'm happy with they way it turned out, Google is doing quite awful job when it comes to Java and Android. They are like 7 years behind proper JDK when it comes to language support. No wonder they had to adopt Kotlin, Java 7 feels like a dinosaur these days ... I don't think we'll ever see JDK16 features ...
